POOLMERICK, a village in Chepstow parish, Monmouth; on a brook of its own name, 1½ mile S W of Chepstow. It has a post-office under Chepstow. P. brookrises near Newchurch; and runs about 7 miles south-south-eastward to the Severn, 2 miles below the village.
