Clynnog, par. and vil., on Carnarvon Bay, in co. and 9 miles SW. of Carnarvon, 12,060 ac. (510 water). pop. 1615; P.O., called Clynnogfawr. The church, one of the finest in North Wales, has a vaulted passage leading to what remains of the monastery and chapel of St Bueno. About ¼ mile from church is St Bueno's Well; in vicinity of vil., towards the sea, is a remarkable cromlech.
