Rum Island, Small Isles par., Inner Hebrides, Argyllshire, 15 miles NW. of Ardnamurchan Point, 30,000 ac., pop. 89; measures 8½ miles by 8 miles, and is mountainous, several summits being upwards of 2000 ft. high.
