Dergan (Gael. dearg-abhuinn, 'red river'), a rivulet in Ardchattan parish, Argyllshire, rising at an altitude of 1100 feet, and running 4½ miles north-north-westward along Glen Salloch and through the woods of Barcaldine, to Loch Creran.—Ord. Sur., sh. 45,1876.
