Notes

The 1851 Index to Townlands (p.923) lists Durrow as being a single parish in four counties, four baronies and three poor law unions. However, this is clearly wrong: based on the Lewis Gazetteer and census parish-level tables, we define instead two parishes, each in two counties and two baronies. Poor law unions are still based on the 1851 Index, based on how the entry lists information in rows.
