A vision of Britain from 1801 to now.
Including maps, statistical trends and historical descriptions.
The three hundreds of Cottesloe, Mursley and Yardley were listed separately at Domesday but from the late thirteenth century were increasingly grouped together simply as Cottesloe. All three continue to be mentioned into the seventeenth century, but according to the Victoria County History (Buckinghamshire, vol.3, pp.326-7 (1925)) Mursley and Yardley do not appear in listings of 1653 or 1659.
