nCube definition

This system for crop classification has been designed by the GBH GIS project to enable comparison of all farm censuses from 1866 to 1970. Although Farm Census data for Scotland as well as for England and Wales have been converted to this structure, the Scottish classification for 1961 fits particularly poorly, not identifying rye or beans and peas.
