MANOROWEN, a parish in Haverfordwest district, Pembroke; on the coast, 1 mile W by S of Fishguard, and 13 NW of Clarbeston-Road r. station. Post town, Fishguard, under Haverfordwest. Acres, 1,263. Real property, £971. Pop., 186. Houses, 36. The property is much subdivided. Manorowen House is the seat of the Bowens, and stands near the old seat of Lewis, the antiquary. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St. David's. Value, £86. Patrons, the Subchanter and Vicars Choral of St. David's. The church is good.
