Newtown Hamilton, small market town and par., in co. and 12 miles SE. of Armagh, 8 miles SW. of Loughgilly ry. sta. and 11 miles W. of Newry - par., 12,407 ac., pop. 4385; town, pop. 898; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Market-day, Saturday. Newtown Hamilton has corn and flax mills.
