Ferns, par. and vil. with ry. sta., N. co. Wexford, on river Bann, 7 miles N. of Enniscorthy and 70 miles S. of Dublin--par., 10,411 ac., pop. 1666; vil., pop. 495; P.O., T.O. Market-day, Monday.
