MORDON, a township in Sedgefield parish, Durham; on the river Skerne, near the Great North of England and the Clarence railways, 8 miles NE of Darlington. Acres, 1,537. Real property, £1,536. Pop., 179. Houses, 35. Mordon Carr here is a tract of bog land.
