LLANFWROG, a parish in the district and county of Anglesey; on Holyhead bay, 3¼ miles ENE of Holyhead r. station. Post town, Holyhead. Acres, 2,017; of which 395 are water. Real property, £1,560. Pop., 246. Houses, 49. The property is divided among a few. The living is a p. curacy, annexed to the rectory of Llanfaethly, in the diocese of Bangor. The church is dedicated to St. Mwrog, and is ancient and indifferent. There is a Calvinistic Methodist chapel.
