LOUDWATER, a village and a chapelry in High Wycombe parish, Bucks. The village stands on an affluent of the river Thames, adjacent to the Maidenhead and Thame railway, 3 miles SE of High Wycombe; and has a station on the railway, and a post office under High Wycombe. The area and pop. of the chapelry are returned with the parish. The manor belongs to the Dowager Lady Dashwood. Flackwell Heath commands a charming view of the valley of the Thames.
