The manor, with Grove Hall, belongs to G. H. Vernon, Esq. There are traces of a Roman camp. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln value, £220.* Patron, G. H. Vernon, Esq. The church is old, and has a small tower. Charities, £10.
